petit h holiday pop-up store
The Project: DML, was commissioned by Hermès to create a series of pop-up stores within its Manhattan boutiques during the holiday season. The pop-ups house a collection of 'petit h' objects displayed in an abstract advent calendar scenography.
Petit h is a unique Hermès laboratory where traditional craft skills and original creative thinking come together. The atelier imagines and realizes original objects by combining different crafts such as silk, leather and glass workmanship.
DML designed every aspect of the experience from the interactive store windows, to the interior architecture and digital content, including an interactive animated film.
Goal: To create a user journey with digital touch points that would appeal to busy New Yorkers and wrap them in the Hermès holiday magic and spirit during the busiest time of the year.
Results: Success was measured by selling out 2 weeks prior to event end date and setting an all-time record in sales in the Madison store within one day.
